Engineering Excellence of the RIPPA RS20 Skid Steer Loader

The RIPPA RS20 is a new heavy-duty skid steer loader engineered to tackle high-intensity and high-load working environments. Designed for demanding job sites like large-scale construction, mining operations, and heavy equipment handling, this machine utilizes an enlarged wheelbase to ensure maximum stability and safety even when operating under high loads. The integration of a high-power engine significantly increases the hydraulic flow across the entire system, allowing it to meet the diverse and rigorous needs of professional operators.

Performance is at the core of the RS20’s design, featuring the robust Yanmar 4TNV98C-PLYS engine. This 4-cylinder, water-cooled unit delivers a maximum power of 49.9 kW and a horsepower rating of 67.9 ps. This powertrain is specifically chosen for its ability to provide powerful output with lower fuel consumption and minimal vibration, ensuring that the machine remains environmentally friendly without sacrificing the torque required for tough jobs.

The machine's mobility is further enhanced by a double-speed motor, which allows for travel speeds up to 10 km/h (6.2 mph). This high-efficiency setup enables the RS20 to respond rapidly to emergency conditions, such as urgent snow removal, where speed and power are critical. Additionally, the hydrostatic drive system facilitates the quick and seamless integration of various attachments directly at the operation site.

Advanced Hydraulic Systems and Versatile Functionality

The RIPPA RS20 stands out due to its sophisticated four-pump hydraulic system, which includes two tandem closed-loop pumps, an internal charge pump, and a gear pump. With impressive flow rates of $108+108+35.7+108~L/min$, this system guarantees efficient power distribution and exceptionally smooth operation. A load-sensing multi-way valve provides precise flow control, allowing the machine to adapt instantly to varying load conditions while maintaining stability and work efficiency.

Versatility is a defining characteristic of this loader, as it is compatible with dozens of industry-standard attachments. Using the industry-standard quick coupler, operators can switch between tools like augers, hydraulic breakers, pallet forks, and snow blades in as little as 30 seconds. The machine is also equipped with two main auxiliary hydraulic lines and one unloading line to further enhance its flexibility in the field.

Durability is addressed through strengthened hydraulic oil cylinders that feature an integrated design. By reducing welding seams, RIPPA has created a more resilient cylinder that is less prone to breaking under stress. The bucket itself is built for high-capacity work, capable of handling a maximum load mass of 2100 kg (4620 lb) with a 0.4 m³ capacity, significantly boosting productivity on the job.

Operator Comfort and Maintenance Efficiency

The cabin of the RS20 is designed around the "functional area" concept, prioritizing the comfort and mental well-being of the driver. It features luxurious, adjustable seats equipped with shock absorption and seat belts to provide a smooth ride during long shifts. To reduce fatigue, the cab includes a radio player and a climate control system that provides cooling in the summer and heating in the winter. The ergonomic layout of the joysticks and instrument panel ensures that operators of all body sizes can work comfortably.

Maintenance on the RS20 is streamlined to minimize downtime through a centralized design. All primary maintenance points are concentrated at the rear of the machine, and the back cover opens easily to put all components and pipelines within reach. For more intensive repairs, the cab can be tilted backward at a large angle, providing unrestricted access to internal systems without the need for complex lifting equipment.

Monitoring the machine's health is made simple via the LCD multi-function display. This intuitive interface provides real-time data on fuel volume, power, temperature, time, and speed. By combining these user-friendly features with an ultra-low noise design, the RS20 provides a professional-grade working environment that is friendly to both the operator and the surrounding environment.
