The Rippa R10 is a China-made mini excavator engineered to deliver outstanding performance on confined and demanding job sites. Powered by an 11.2 hp (8.2 kW) engine and capable of producing a maximum digging force of 9.2 kN, the R10 blends power and efficiency within a lightweight 978 kg frame. This combination of compact size and strong performance makes it an ideal choice for contractors and builders seeking a durable, cost-effective solution for small-scale construction tasks.
One of the R10’s most impressive features is its hydraulically adjustable track width. With a simple single-lever control, operators can reduce the track width to 900 mm in seconds, allowing the machine to pass through narrow passages or operate efficiently in tight spaces. When added stability is required on uneven terrain, the tracks can be expanded to 1200 mm, providing increased balance and improved performance on rugged surfaces.
Another practical highlight is the foldable dozer blade, which can be adjusted quickly by removing a single pin. This feature enhances the R10’s adaptability across different jobsite conditions, offering superior versatility whether operating indoors or navigating challenging outdoor environments. The adjustable blade ensures consistent leveling performance and reliable ground handling capabilities.
Photos of the R10 in action clearly demonstrate how Rippa achieves the perfect balance between compact design and powerful performance. Its small footprint allows it to move effortlessly through garden paths, basements, and municipal work areas, while its strong hydraulic system delivers smooth and responsive operation across a wide range of applications.

Mini excavators such as the Rippa R10 are widely used across many industries due to their compact dimensions and dependable hydraulic power. They excel in trenching, utility installation, and foundation preparation—particularly on job sites where larger machines cannot operate. Their small footprint allows contractors to complete tasks efficiently without damaging surrounding structures or landscapes.
In landscaping, mini excavators are essential for digging ponds, removing stumps, creating drainage systems, and reshaping terrain. Their rubber tracks minimize ground disturbance, making them suitable for gardens, residential properties, and sensitive areas where surface protection is a priority.
Agriculture also benefits significantly from the versatility of mini excavators. Farmers rely on them for ditch digging, land clearing, irrigation installation, and general property maintenance. Their lightweight design reduces soil compaction, helping preserve soil health and supporting long-term farm productivity.

The functionality of mini excavators expands greatly with the use of specialized attachments, increasing the versatility of machines like the Rippa R10.
Augers
Ideal for drilling holes for fence posts, tree planting, and foundation footings. Their ability to penetrate various soil types boosts productivity in both construction and agricultural applications.
Rippers
Designed to break through compacted soil, frozen ground, and rocky surfaces. They prepare the ground for further excavation while reducing strain on the machine, enabling smoother digging operations even in difficult conditions.
Hydraulic Breakers
Transform the mini excavator into a compact demolition tool capable of breaking concrete, asphalt, stone, and brick—essential for road repairs, renovation work, and small demolition projects.
Grapples
Useful for handling logs, debris, scrap materials, and construction waste. They are especially valuable in landscaping, forestry, and recycling operations where precise lifting and controlled movement are required.
